Isla Rose Flowers is a true family affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re John and Anna Mehrtens, and together with our three young daughters, we grow beautiful, seasonal blooms on our lifestyle property nestled under the Hunter Hills in Waimate, South Canterbury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our little farm is named after our twin daughters, who were born just before the first lockdown. What began as a quiet time at home soon blossomed\u2014literally\u2014into a flourishing garden, lovingly tended by us and our wee farmers. These flowers are a reflection of that time and the joy we\u2019ve found in growing together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We now share our blooms through our roadside stall, direct orders, wholesale to florists, and for weddings and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing has been a lifelong passion for both of us, and we feel so grateful to share this journey not only with our girls but also with our wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited about what\u2019s to come\u2014and can\u2019t wait to share it with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
